  1. Niraj Says:

The VP should at least get some positive points for immediately finding out Wayne was being brought back through his insider channels.

  2. Mark Says:

Sandra actually wasn’t too bad this episode, amazing.

  3. Matt Says:

I think there should be a universal tac. team award, since Jack goes through one or two every episode and has them on command.

  4. Chuck Says:

Still not a single mention of Logan the past two episodes…very strange to me. I need to know if he’s back in his goofy cowboy outfit and quoting scriptures. There’s something going on with the VP’s secretary. Mark my words.

  5. Chris Says:

Given Nadia’s response to Bill’s request to stay … I think she just might be the mole afterall. The whole “chip that got around all of CTU’s defenses” seems a weak argument. It could have been left there to cover Nadia’s tracks. Unlikely, but entirely plausible given Nadia’s face when Bill was talking to her.

  6. Another Sam Says:

Most Useless Presidential Administration Award goes to everyone sitting around VP Powers Booth - excluding Tom Lennox and Karen Hayes, of course. Seriously though - NO ONE ELSE wants to debate on this just a little bit??? Nah, just let him send the nuke. Oh, he wants to take over the presidency now that the President is back? Sure - why not? Geez, those people are useless.

  7. Mike (whatever happened to my character) Novick Says:

I’m sad that after all the trouble Gredenko’s caused that Jack didn’t slap him around just a little bit. And just for the record, I don’t believe real terrorists go for the “I want immunity and then I’ll give you what you want”-line at the first sign of being captured. What about “going down with the ship” or “you’ll get nothing but my name rank and serial number” or “do what you want to the girl, but leave me alone”? Well, maybe not that last one, but I guess that’s the line you have when you’re a terrorist and you look into the cold, bittered stare of Jack Bauer. It’s “Oh you’ll never get to me because my lawyer’s on the phone and he’s got a whole case of immunity to throw in your face, Mister Bauer!” Sorry, but I really want that dvd set.

  8. S.a.m. Says:

Worst wanna-be terrorist ever award goes to Brady’s brother (I don’t remember his name). He gave away all his information right away. Gredenko must not’ve been paying him enough.

  9. Justin Says:

    Submitted for your consideration again:
CTU Agent Most Likely to be Killed by Jack Award: Rick “Mikey Doyle Schroder

  10. HardwareGuy Says:

Underground bunker doctor: +100 for standing up to the vice president without wetting himself.

Best use of a James Bond move goes to Milo, for his forded kiss of Nadia cause he knew she really wanted it.

Also I bet $100 that the Brady will be working for CTU next season.

  11. Mike B. Says:

The Tony and Michelle Couples Award:

goes to Milo and Nadia who hook up on the job during a major crisis just like Tony and Michelle a long time ago. minus points though for not being as likeable…on the big nosed milo side.

this time it feels empty cause they both have not been around till this season (milo season 1 appearance doesn’t count). So its almost like two strangers making out in a highschool hallway. Get a room for christs sake.

  12. The_Bird Says:

I think Chloe might still have feelings for Milo. The way she was looking at them kissing, I’m not sure she was so happy. Perhaps she went back to Morris just because he’s her ex-husband and that seemed like a logical thing to do.
I am really happy though to see all the ‘’supposedly” main characters of the season back in action (yes, including Sandra… she’s not that bad). I was wondering why they even bothered to make a photoshot of the main characters, since so many of them (sandra, karen, chloe, nadia, palmer) where getting so little screen time. Now it’s starting to make sense. I’d give a special award to the producers to have included all their main characters in one episode, giving all of them at least three lines and a meaningful job.

  13. Edmundo Says:

Biggest 24 Mystery Award: goes to Denver, because apparently, EVERYONE in 24-verse knows whats up (except us). Seriously, wtf happened in Denver?

  14. Mike Says:

The Season 4 Comeback Award (in the spirit of Tony, Michelle, and David Palmer making comebacks into the show) goes to Wayne Palmer for calling off the nuke strike when all along we thought he had “crashed” in his coma. It was great to hear Wayne’s voice after a multi-episode hiatus.

  15. the other aaron Says:

I’m with you Edmundo, we need someone to explain what tragic malfunction happened in Denver.

Milo and Nadia are annoying me. Mostly Milo.

  16. Ken Says:

“Greatest Doctor Ever!” Award: Wayne’s doctor, for standing up the the scariest character in the show, saving the president from his wounds from the explosion by inducing the coma, and then bringing him out of the coma, while Wayne was crashing, all in less than forty minutes.

“Worst Doctors Ever!” Award: CTU medical. With a very bad prior record (they couldn’t treat Paul’s (season 4) gunshot wound over six episodes!) they let yet another information-filled terrorist die. What is that, like ten now? Plus, they have an amazing zero surviving patients!

  17. matt jackman Says:

Special awards: most akward beging to a kiss… milo. most annoying person to even look at… sandra palmer!!!!

  18. steve Says:

Yes, the “Denver Incident” -could it be the Mile High Massacre? Or the Ruckus in the Rockies? - which clearly evryone knows about because they only refer to it as “Denver”, must surely play some role later on.
This episode was clearly one for characters to show their better sides - Mikey not being such a jerk after all, the White House doc standing up to the crazy VP and Sandra actually being quite likeable for a change - except, of course, for VP Powers “Gone to my head, and now it hurts real bad” Booth.

  19. James Says:

OK, I’ve said this before - The VP is named Noah Daniels, NOT Powers Boothe. That’s the actor who plays him!

  20. Jay Says:

Best Brother Award: goes to Mark. After taking care of Brady for “a long time”, he has no idea that Brady doesn’t eat red food. What’s worse, Mark WATCHES Brady doing all the dirty work.

  21. Jack Says:

Kim Jong Il Award: Goes to Vice President Whatshisname for being annoying and hellbent on launching nukes.

  22. Jason Says:

@ James: We are all well aware. Powers Booth just sounds more intimidating than Noah.

  23. Kevm Says:

There is something about this season that is bugging me, i feel like we still only know about 10% of what is really going on. There have been so many pointles storylines (walid, all the nonsense at CTU, karen hayes leaviing just to turn around and come back, reed and his partner) that make it feel like the writers are waiting to blow everything open. Where the heck is charles logan, philip bauer, and JAMES HELLER?

  24. Another Sam Says:

Good point Kevm… I’ve been thinking the same thing. There are more questions than answers at this point, which makes me think everything is gonna come pouring out sometime soon.
I’m also still REALLY curious about Marilyn’s kid actually being Graem’s - that kid just looks WAY too much like a male version of Kim and I can’t believe they didn’t do that on purpose.
Also, James… I believe Aaron pointed out a few recaps ago that he didn’t think “Noah Daniels” sounded scary enough. Most of us are agreeing when we call him Powers Booth.

  25. alu Says:

well there’s 9 episodes left. You can bet things will blow wide open soon enough.. hopefully they explore Jack goin after who killed Adrey, but that might be a teaser jump into season 7.

  26. The Bird Says:

I prefer calling the VP Noah, I can’t remember who called him by his first name not so long ago, I think it was Tom Lennox… Anyways I sounded so cute, like he was talking to a five years old kid, that to me he’ll stay Noah even if he blows up a continent. I haven’t been scared of him, even for a few seconds, since then.

  27. Mike (whatever happened to my character) Novick Says:

I’m concerned about Gredenko’s health. First he gets chocked by Fayed with a gun to his neck and next he’s shot in the neck with a tranquilizer dart (good shot sniper!). Plus, what’s he thinking riding around town in an SUV after dark. What if somebody spots him and tries to apprehend him. Oh, wait. Never mind.
I think the Good Conduct award goes to Brady. He’s a real breath of fresh air. I agree he could be hired by CTU, but if something goes wrong and he gets blamed, I wouldn’t want to see him interrogated. I sure hope he gets to see his brother.

  28. Jose Alvear Says:

What about Jack’s dad, the guy from Babe? And Six Feet Under. And everything else. Where did he run off to after making it seem like he was about to shoot his little son Jack? He escaped from CTU’s perimeter, and now he’s missing. Maybe he’ll be back in the later episodes as the real mastermind of the whole thing. Or maybe he has something to do with Denver.
This season is really pretty slow and is totally following the 24 formula. I wish things would be a little different. We’ve seen it all before. Jack runs point. Jack kills someone. Jack tortures someone. The bad guy asks for immunity. Chloe scowls. Kissing in the CTU office. A VP wants more power. Yawn! Let’s get something unique for the remaining few shows.. Please!

  29. Another Sam Says:

    @ Jose Alvear:
THANK YOU for reminding me about Philip Bauer in “Babe”. He really needs to come back soon - he’s just about the only person who totally knows how to screw with Jack’s head.

Also… am I the only one who’s been waiting for Philip Bauer to say,
    “That’ll do, Jack. That’ll do.”
I was so sure he would say after he killed Graem, but alas… no dice.

  30. Mike (whatever happened to my character) Novick Says:

Karen needs some kind of award for staying with Sandra all that time and even getting her coffee (or whatever that was (she should’ve slipped her a “mickey”).
We should be nearing the point in the season where we get some big information in next few episodes. And yes, Philip Bauer should resurface, but he was so whiny about “the company” he built, there’s no telling what he’s going to do next.
Noah/Powers does appear that he might burst a vein any minute if he doesn’t get his way and get Wayne out of the way. I’ll bet somewhere down the line Tom gets framed for the bomb in the bunker until it comes out that the VP was behind it. Or not.

  31. e Says:

    To Kevm about James Heller:

You may recall last season he drove off a cliff into some body of water.
Although there is no official announcement that he died, one could only assume he didn’t survive

  32. Ken Says:

Except for the fact that 2 episodes later, they say that Heller survived. ;)
