Special Awards:
The Most Ungrateful Character Award: Goes to Secretary Heller Seriously if it weren’t for Jack his daughter would still be in Chinese custody and he’d be dead. And how is this Jack’s fault? Last I checked Audrey was a grown up woman that made her own stupid decision to go to China to get Jack back.
Stupidest CTU Moment: Goes to…well…CTU. Minutes after Cheng has “escaped they aren’t even looking for him anymore. They have 2 choppers on the ground which should be out looking for the hummers of death. If something like this has implications to starting World War 3, they should be scrambling fighters jets and scouring the countryside for Cheng, not waiting for a catatonic crazy woman to tell them where they held her.

I think Doyle should get some points for admitting that he messed up Jack’s plan, as well as saving Jack’s life in the process…or maybe minus for messing up the plan, but plusses for admitting the mistake and saving Jack’s life.
Good job catching Nadia’s “Where’s Chloe” question…I missed it there.
May 1st, 2007 at 11:52 am
Tom,
Doyle got points last week for saving Jack’s life, and minus points for messing up the plan.
May 1st, 2007 at 12:09 pm
He did, didn’t he? Okay, negative points for me for not paying enough attention…haha
May 1st, 2007 at 12:21 pm
Quickest internal invetigation ever award: Tom and Karen. It took only one commercial break to completely clear CTU of suspicion and for Tom to find a cell phone call from Lisa to a possible agent. They sure have gotten a lot of practice over the years.
May 1st, 2007 at 12:43 pm
Job Requiring The Most Tolerance For Pain Award: goes to the position of security guard at CTU. More specifically, security guards at CTU on any day that Jack Bauer is there. Those security guards just get completely owned every time!
May 1st, 2007 at 12:48 pm
Aaron, please correct the part under VP P.B.’s points that lists Karen Hayes as a “him”.

OMG what an awesome episode! I, among many others, have lost all and any respect I might have had for James Heller. He, along with most 24 characters, suck. How could he blame Jack? So yes, all of Jack’s friends normally die, but who is he to be such a loser about it? I mean really! When you save America 1000 times over, go ahead and be a loser. Also, he is the only GUY (meaning male no duh) to make Jack cry, except, of course, Tony. But he is so amazing it doesn’t count.

Last night at 10:01 PM I ran upstairs and checked this site, and then remembred, “Oh yeah.. He probably hasn’t done it yet!” lol so yeah I had to wait until after school to read it.. tear. Anyway, Audrey is so awesome I am so happy she is back! Also, the whole Daniels and Lisa making out thing was sorta nasty… he is soooo old! ew! Almost as unbearable as Martha and Charles Logan. Well, not quite. But I hate Lisa so I am so happy he hates her now too. Surperisingly, I am giving the “Good job actually not sucking” award to Milo and Mikey. Wow. I am shocked with myself. I hate Milo especially and he wasn’t that bad. I am giving the “Good job Sucking” award to Nadia and the shrink. They both suck. I hate them. I hope they die.
Okay that is my rant for now!

At the end of the episode Nadia is talking via her headset, and gives Chloe a task… But she just saw Chloe wasn’t there… or maybe they just made a huge continuity goof.
May 1st, 2007 at 3:33 pm
Or, she just assumed that Chloe was back, since it had been about five minutes already? I was wondering about that too.
May 1st, 2007 at 3:35 pm
Oh, I just watched it back. Nadia told Morris to give Chloe those directions. So Chloe might still not be back but Nadia wouldn’t know because she’s in the basement and on comm with Morris only.
May 1st, 2007 at 4:34 pm
Marc,
Thanks for pointing that out. Sorry for the him/her mix up. -5 points to me.
May 1st, 2007 at 4:45 pm
Yeah I was wondering about that too. But she wouldn’t know that Chloe was still missing so she probably just assumed she was there.
May 1st, 2007 at 6:06 pm
Tom Lennox should have gotten negative points for his shocked/disgusted/confused facial expression when VP Booth told him about his fornication. It was almost as bad as Marylin Bauer’s horrible facial expression earlier in the season. And THEN Tom licked the folder he was holding! what kind of a reaction was that?! Yeah, it was bad news, but you don’t need to look stupid and stupidly put whatever is in your hands in your mouth.
Nadia, though being a real prat, is still hot.
May 1st, 2007 at 8:44 pm
In Buchanan’s absence, Nadia has also assumed the recapping job as acting head of CTU. The “Best Back-Up Recapper” Award should go to Doyle and Nadia for recapping last week’s entire episode in their phone conversation.

Chloe has learned the technique once used by Lamont Cranston, young man about town…Otherwise known as
THE SHADOW… mwah ha hahaha
May 2nd, 2007 at 7:56 am
How about an award for “kindest, gentlest sleeper hold ever”? Jack chokes the hell out of Doyle, and then lays him down on the ground like he was tucking in a baby. I thought for a second he was gonna stroke his hair and give him a kiss on the forehead!

May 2nd, 2007 at 7:56 am
“Sleep tight, pal. See you in the morning light!”

May 2nd, 2007 at 9:27 am
Ha, I wondered about that sleeper hold too. Hilarious!
Although it looked cool, the entire sleeper hold thing was lame because Little Ricky should have had the balls to go with Jack and help him get Audrey out.
Did ya’ll like that obvious Cisco commercial for the “telepresence” videoconference? Hah, that was too lame.
May 2nd, 2007 at 10:44 am
Yeah. Nice product placement, Cisco. The Dell on the back of CTU’s computer monitors is another one, but that Cisco was screamin’ at you.
Let the Bauer Sleep Clinic help you fall asleep fast. (Side affects may include dry mouth, a stiff neck and an inability to ever walk again).
May 2nd, 2007 at 12:41 pm
Lol Jack is so amazing but yeah Doyle should have handled the consequences and gone with him, but he probably would just screw life up.
May 2nd, 2007 at 3:48 pm
This is the first ever comment for me on “Watching 24″ I love this site! I look forward to the character countdowns and reviews every week. ;o)
Anyway, I think Tom should get some points for the great reaction he had when VP Booth told him about his relationship with Lisa. The look of shock he had for the entire segment just made me laugh. It was so good!!!
May 2nd, 2007 at 3:56 pm
Lol yeah it was kinda funny… I might have puked though.. so old! so much old! ew!
May 2nd, 2007 at 8:24 pm
I love how the sleeper-hold was completely useless. Nadia instantly knew that Doyle had let Jack do that to him, and he didn’t even deny it. So why bother even going through it??
May 2nd, 2007 at 10:34 pm
I’ve no idea why he “let” Jack do anything. All of their movements, events, and “let him do thus and suches” were all on video, because each of the cells are all monitored. Case in point: Nadia/Hotti hears the alarm, and requests instant access to the medbay where the alarm was initiated. One of the large Dell 22″ flat panel monitors appears the entire medical bay on ultra clear video. Surely they had something similiar in the room where Jack Bauer, known Houdini-in-CTU from every season of this show was being held.
Shrug.
Pardon me while I drive our podcast through the loopholes and anti-logic orgies in this season of the hit Fox show, 24!
Check out the 24 in 60+! for this episode. It was a lot of fun to make!
May 3rd, 2007 at 12:13 am
I almost heard the guard saying “hey, wait a minute Jack.. I want one of these gentle sleep care too ! oh no! punch in the neck ! no ! please ! be kind to me ! think of the children !and then Jack regret his move, and went easy on the Doc.. too bad… Jack, follow Doyle’s advice and punch someone when it counts !
but the “I was cheated and all I got was this stupid oval office” award goes to VP Powers “voice from hell” Boothe
