Mary Lynn the Buddy….
Thursday, July 30th, 2009So, yesterday I shared a little clip of Mary Lynn responding to a reporter’s suggestion that she be the new Jack should Kiefer leave. Today, I have a little more Mary Lynn for you. It seems she’s gonna be in a new movie that you may have heard of by now. It’s called Julie and Julia. For anyone who hasn’t seen anything about it yet, it’s based on a true story. A young woman spent a year cooking all the recipes from Julia Child’s cookbook and wrote about her experience on a blog, which later became a book. The film goes back and forth between Julie’s (Amy Adams) experiment and Julia’s (Meryl Streep) time in France.
Mary Lynn plays Julie’s best friend in the movie, named Helen according to the wikipedia page for the movie. Not sure how big a part it is, but it sounds pretty decent, don’t you think? I’m actually kinda tempted to check this one out and see how it is. Or maybe I’ll wait for the DVD so I can skip the Julia parts… the voice kinda grates on me a little. Here’s a little promo for the movie, which opens on August 7th, thanks to clevvermovies:
After watching this it does look kind of entertaining… who else agrees with me? Are you going to see it or do you think anyone who does is crazy? Share your thoughts and let’s chat about it! I guess that’s about it for this time. Take care and I’ll see y’all again tomorrow!
