I suspect all of your concerns about whether or not the offer of immunity that Seaton received had an escape clause in the event he was playing them are moot. I really doubt that this guy will survive the day. No one else the FBI has taken into custody in connection with this has (except for their own mole) unless they were actually one of the good guys and are later released.

All immunity offers come standard with the clause that if said offender’s information proves to be completely worthless, then the deal is off. Check Season 5 when Jack brought in a female Russian spy who pointed the finger at Audrey only to find out the intel was bogus. We should really keep a record of immunity deals over the years of 24. It is incomprehensible that Seaton wasn’t taken into custody and even more surprising that Tony fell for Seaton’s story in the first place. I know he’s been dead for a while, but he’s gonna have to save the day in dramatic fashion to make up for that blind spot. Larry’s a bit one-dimensional. He needs to start thinking for himself instead of whining about someone giving him some options and info or begging someone for a Tums. You’re in charge, dude. Act like it.
Sorry. He’s taking up valuable screen time from more interesting characters. Speaking of which, where’s Chloe? Can’t she be doing something useful in all this while Morris plays t-ball with Prescott?

I kind of figured, but given this is 24 and all, you never know. LOL.
I miss Chloe, too, but there is a good reason she’s not on screen about now. Mary Lynn had a baby during filming and she was on maternity leave while some of these episodes were being filmed. She will be back, though.

I know this reply is kind of late, but things got crazy and I never got around to relpying when I wanted to. Holy Crap!s comment from above reminded me I still wanted to respond.
Anyway… I’m totally agree with why you think it’s moot I really think that Tony is going to have a hand in whatever happens to Seaton. I just had to bring it up from Taylor’s standpoint and how she’d deserve to lose those points if there was no such clause just cause of how stupid that would be.
So what do you think? Will Tony off him or do you think it will be someone (or something) else?
