Special Awards:

The Dummy of the Week Award goes to: Sean for letting Janis use that device. He’s the mole and he’s letting someone do something suspicious on his equiptment just to keep from being busted to his wife? He deserves to get caught.

The Most Useless Award goes to: Janis for spending the whole hour trying to spy on Chloe to see if she is gonna get replaced. She deserves to if she keep this up.

The Computer Geek of the Week Award: goes to Chloe for obvious reasons.

  1. Tim Says:

Tony -50 for not doing anything worth filming in the last 2 hours.

  2. Jamie Beckett Says:

LOL! true. I wonder what he’s been doing all this time. I have this odd feeling it’s not anything good, though.

  3. isaac Says:

I disagree with Sean’s Dummy award and think he deserves points. He’s now set up Janis as the mole and can say she’s blackmailing him. He only gets a divorce for cheating, he gets the death penalty for treason. So +20 for that and another +10 for hacking Larry’s cell phone ( even Chloe didn’t catch that!)

  4. Jamie Beckett Says:

You’ve got a point there… especially being able to hack the phone w/o Chloe noticing it. Still, if I were him, I’d have serious concerns about giving a device like that away if I was a mole. He’d have to say Janis stole it without him knowing, which would probably open him up to an investigation anyway. Of course, if Dubaku doesn’t get out safely, he won’t have to worry about any of that. :)

  5. isaac Says:

I almost didn’t catch the one about Tony. Why wasn’t he running the second car in the tail? That’s SOP on tailing cars. But i have to admit i love that this season because i live in dc.

  6. Gwen Says:

I avoided watching Season 7 until I had enough episodes TIVO’d to make it worthwhile. What a marathon today has been! Of course, I couldn’t read any of these blog posts till I started watching either. I’m surprised I didn’t see any mention of what I thought has been one of the best lines (exchanges) so far…Jack to Renee: “Then maybe you should get out.” Renee: “Maybe I will. Tomorrow.”

I like watching lots of episodes back to back, I think I get a better feel for the stories that way. And I have to say that Season 7 is a huge improvement after Season 6. It’s very lean and focused. The writers have done a great job…except that the decision to incorporate more verbalizing over the moral ambiguities is just a wee bit too obvious. Or maybe it just seems that way because I’m aware of the criticisms of the show in that area.

JAMIE: Hi, Gwen! Welcome! I agree that I am definitely enjoying this year more than last, even thought there are some issues this year (the torture debate you mentioned being one of them). By the way… I love that exchange, too.
