CTU After Jack….
So, you all know it’ll happen one day, right? Jack Bauer can’t keeping beating the odds forever and will suffer the same fate as Moss, Miles and others over the years. Kiefer himself has said ever since day one that the show could and would go on without him if that’s what the writers decided on.
This has actually come up a couple of times recently. Especially since it was hinted that the show might just go on in some form after the eighth season ends. Now, Mary Lynn has been asked for her two cents on the whole thing. Check out this brief clip of her at a movie premiere:
In case you couldn’t load it, the interviewer asks her about this issue and Mary Lynn says that she believes that Kiefer truly believes the show can go out without him, but she doesn’t seem to be as sure of the idea. She’s then asked about the possibility of her maybe taking over the job one day. You don’t see her complete response in the clip, but let’s just say she doesn’t seem to sure of that one either. What do ya know? Chloe really is a Jack’s girl! Seriously, though… I think a Chloe and Renee combo would be the most logical choice at this point if Kiefer were to leave the show. After all, who else but Chloe has been with the series longer than Jack? And Renee definitely proved last season she can hold her own. What do you all think of this?
