Kiefer the Label Boss
Good morning, everyone! I just came across an AOL interview with Kiefer that was kind of surprising to me. After he discussed 24: Redemption a little bit, the interviewer asked about his record label! I had no clue he was involved in the music business. He has some other people who essentially run it, but he provided them with the place to run things from and occasionally helps out (when he has time).
According to him, there are three acts currently on the label and that’s all they want. He thinks it allows them to serve the artists better. There’s very little chance anyone would get lost in the shuffle when the roster is small. Check out a couple clips below.
This one is Rocco DeLuca and the Burden. Kiefer said the album was actually produced by the same producer who works with U2!
This clip is from Billy Boy on the Poison. They’re supposed to have an album out by the end of this month. At least, that’s what he said at the time of the interview.
I couldn’t find anything on there for Honeyhoney, the final act on the label. So what do you think based on the two clips you saw? Does he know music? Do you think this label could end up being a big thing on the Indie scene? Post your comments below. There’s one more thing I wanna talk about, but I wanna spoiler it for those who are avoiding any advance info at all. If you’re brave, continue on…
So, old Tony Almaida is coming back from the dead apparently. I thought that had to be a joke when I first heard the rumors, but it is definitely true. And from what’s been put out there, it sounds like he’s gonna be a bad guy this time around. I wonder how they’re going to pull off his return? I’m hoping it’s pretty good explanation, considering how things left off with him. Well, that’s all for now. Take care and see ya next time!
