Warning- this post is going to be pretty spoilery for the finale and beyond and the info is according to E’s Kristin. If you don’t wanna know anything, I would skip this one. So, we all know that next season is going to take place in New York. Well, more details have been released as to what we can expect from Day 8. It looks like Renee may have some skeletons (or least a few inner demons) in her closet and they’re going to tie in somehow to the big threat next season. I’m pretty excited about this detail and hope it sticks, cause I think it’d be fun to explore the character a bit more. AS for other characters- looks like Chloe just may have a few adjustment issues moving to CTU New York. Lucky for her, Janis won’t be there next season to add to the headache. Kim will, as you may have guessed after that one casting announcement, will be back as well. Olivia, it seems, will definitely have to face the consequences for her plot to assassinate Hodges. Unless she pulls something really sneaky at the last second.
The most interesting part to me was when Tony was discussed in regards to the finale. Supposedly, he’s being described as ‘selfish’ and not outright evil. Honestly, I think he passed selfish the second he took part in that plane crash and there’s no backtracking. Never mind Larry and the other FBI agents. Gordon promises that everything about the how and why of Tony’s turn to the dark side will be revealed on Monday night. So, what do you all think? How would you play out the Tony thing?
