Top Ten 24 Events to Look Forward to in 2007: #2 (possible spoiler…but it’s well known news)

Well, it’s been confirmed this season that Jack does indeed have a father and that we will meet him sometime over the course of season 6.

I’m looking forward to this, because done right this may be a very moving and stirring event. But, also if done wrong this could turn out quite cheesy and unnecessary.

Jack’s father will be played by the great James Cromwell, who has been everything from a farmer on Babe to the President in Clear and Present Danger.

He’s a great actor, and I’m really anticipating that his meeting with Jack as his Father will be a rather emotional one for both parties. I just hope that the entire event is relevant to the storyline of season 6.

Also, it better not turn out that Jack’s Dad is actually working with the terrorists or I will shut my TV off right there.

    Slight correction: You’ve mixed up your Tom Clancy presidents. James Cromwell played the president in “The Sum of All Fears,” not “A Clear and Present Danger.”
