Top Ten 24 Events to Look Forward to in 2007: #5
What main character is going to meet their doom? That’s another thing I’m looking forward to. 24, has proven over the years that it’s not afraid to kill off main characters, beloved by millions of viewers on a whim.
This year I’m hoping will be no different. While no one likes to watch the departure of one of their favorite cast members it’s inevitable that someone we know and love on the show will be leaving early. So who’s it going to be?
My money is on someone like Bill Buchanan or Curtis Manning. Although my heart is wishing it would be Kim, which I don’t think will ever happen. To me she’s already dead, out of sight out of mind right?
Also, now is a good time to acknowledge, and thank before hand all those red shirted CTU guards that are sure to die throughout the season. And all of those expendable men that go with Jack on missions and get killed. Or all those agents that are sent to check something out by themselves unknowingly walking right into a death trap.
We also need to acknowledge the countless henchmen that are sure to meet their maker by the hands of Jack Bauer.
Anyway, back to the subject at hand. Who’s going to get the ax? Who’s going to bit the big one? Maybe even someone like Chloe? Who knows. I thought Tony was untouchable, and look what happened to him and Michelle. Nothing is impossible on 24.
Who do you think it will be? Any guesses?

Anyone but Chloe! I think eventually it will be Jack himself. That’s how they will end the series in three or four years when his contract is up. One man can only escape death so many times.

I think for now Chloe is safe. I personally don’t think Jack will die. I mean he’s technically already died twice in the series. But, I just don’t think that they’ll do it. But, you’re right it’ll be quite a huge surprise.
